I was recently on holiday on Koh Samui, Thailand when I saw John Stapleton on the Chaweng beach road. Unfortunately I was in the car at the time, however I did shout "LOOK, HE'S FAMOUS!!!!!!"

No picture, but my wife and I were privileged to see John, his wife Lyne and is son on holiday in Ko Samui whilst we were on our honeymoon.

They were dining at the lovely Poppy's with some very drunk hangers on, (typical celeb spotters who they were too polite to say funk off too).

They ended up splitting the bill 30%-70% in Johns' favour.

We were too polite to ask for a photo but these funkers were happy to take the piss with the bar bill!!!

They were obvioulsy not having a great time as towards the end of the meal Lynne had to make her escape and claimed she still has too pack for the journey home!! They weren't leaving for another two days!!

Anyway, wish I had a photo but I haven't so bollocks.

We have just seen the mighty John, Lynn Faulds Wood plus two fat children in the Thai Elephant in Richmond celebrating a birthday (not his) plus he was groping up the Thai waitresses.

It's a bit out of date but we saw John Stapleton outside the Man City souvenir shop at Maine Road before the Fulham game in January 1999. We said hello and the man himself said "Hello Lads". He was with 2 others presumably his son and father.
