As veteran performer Petula Clark has been on GMTV so many times (and had her own similar show in 1951!) I thought yu might be interested as might your members and John himself.

I am trying to contact those who may be interested. Petula Clark is one of the most venerated of British female vocalists she is now 75 years old and still touring, writing and recording. please can you consider signing and giving this publicity.

There is a Downing Street online petition asking the British Government to make her a Dame. This is being supported by many of her contemporaries and Sir Cliff Richard, Phillip Schofield, Wendy Richard, Anita Dobson, Sir Michael Caine, Sir Tim Rice, Susan Hampshire, Michael Jayston, Bill Kenwrght, Ruthie Henshall , Amanda Jane Manning, Leo Sayer, Bill Tarmey, Guy Fletcher, members of the Shadows, Searchers, 10CC, Honeycombs, and many others have signed.

Please can you consider signing and pass the link on to anyone else who may be interested. I feel this is a very worthy cause.

My sister in law had GMTV filming outside her house this morning with John because his Grandparents lived in her house, it was a real surprise as she didn't even know they were coming. She lives in Denton in Greater Manchester.

I have had in my possession a receipe of yours from the Daily Mail since the 21.1.02. I have made this dish successfully a number of times, and have enjoyed it each time. However, there is one ingredient that I have never come across in any of the supermarkets I use. I wonder if it is obtainable anywhere, or is it something that you have created yourself. If this is the case, would you mind telling me, or where it is obtainable.

I actually live a minute away from Mr stapleton and I am friends with his son Nick who is 14. John is a really nice bloke. Most of the time he is really tired and so he is just very relaxed. It is funny watching him at about 9 pm because he starts to fall asleep and he always trys to keep himself awake. All in all he's just a nice bloke.

If you want I can get a photo of me with him. Just to prove I am not lying

one of our staff members working in theatre department has for some time now worked for charity on behalf of Mother Theresa's Missionary,he has been doing charity work for years and has been to India on many occassions purely for this cause,I feel that because he has been such a saint,it would be nice if you could give him a mention of some kind,he is off to Ireland on 18/02 to give his support to the homeless,it would be helpful if any GMTV/staff or viewers could donate all bric-a-brac's to david in order that he can take these along with him for the homeless,other useful items are: warm scarfs,babies/childrens ware, socks, gloves, hats, blankets, bedspreads, linen, toys, and any Walt Disneyand Jungle Books,if items are broken or damaged they will be put to very good use,all Items will be used by the Missionaries Charity. kind regards jackie.p.s I watch GMTV every single morning(always do your competiotion and never ever win)love to Fiona and Eamon

I was on Time and Place about 2 years ago, the episode regarding growing old and facelifts etc. On that programme I made a friend and we kept in touch all year until I moved out of the country late 1997. I lost my address book one week before moving and therefore we lost touch. I'm back now and can't think of anyway of finding her. She's not listed with Telecom. Her name is Kelly St John and she lives in Maldon Essex. My name is Tricia Clarke and I would dearly love to make contact with her.
